I initially didn't expect to have much interaction with the instructors at the Art Students League - I thought I would just make the most of the models and pretty much keep to myself. So I have to say I am somewhat surprised by my happy acceptance of guides, which is something new. Perhaps I am less stubborn in my middle age.

Each guide advocates a unique approach, (even if it's no approach), and I assimilate what they have to offer to the extent I am seduced by it. I've worked with Anthony Palumbo for painting, drawing, sculpture, Frank Porcu for ecorche, Barney Hodes for life size sculpture and George Cannatta for drawing and painting.
